Tibouchina mutabilis is a large shrub or small tree with mauve flowers in summer. It is difficult to obtain information about this species, but having obtained seed from a friend in Brazil, I am currently attempting to grow this variety in my greenhouse.
Tibouchina is a large family of tropical shrubs, mostly from Brazil (Zone 10).
